If you frequent our library’s website, you will notice not only the facelift our site recently underwent, but also a sidebar that can be found on the right hand side of the screen. The title of that bar reads “Tutorials” and has a small graduation cap underneath it. This is the easy access point for one of our newest service Niche Academy.
Niche Academy is an easy to use platform that allows patrons to access a variety of tutorials covering library resources and materials, along with tutorials on how to become more familiar with different software and technology tools. Some of the most popular tutorials that have been used are computer basics, Excel, Word, Ancestry and Windows 10.
If you click on the “Tutorials” tab, a side window will open up showing all the available tutorials. Using the “Categories” option you can select different topic areas such as, Library Tools, Genealogy, Streaming Services and more. Each tutorial has a video overview and can also be broken down into parts by clicking on the “Lessons” tab once a topic is selected.
Keep an eye on this area for frequent updates as we continue to grow our services!
